Fujifilm Announces Expansion in Chinese Film Market
In mid-2024, Fujifilm announced it will begin domestic production of two color negative films—C200 and C400—for the Chinese market, addressing the rapidly growing demand for film photography.
Adding to the surprise, Fujifilm also unveiled the “Jelly Camera,” a compact film camera designed exclusively for China. Its standout feature is a semi-transparent casing that offers a glimpse into the camera’s internal components. Equipped with a 32mm fixed-focus lens, the Jelly Camera uses ISO 400 color negative film to capture 36 exposures per roll. It also includes a built-in flash effective up to 3 meters.
